When Satan Whispers

WERE YOU OVERTHROWN?

1 Cor.10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Heb 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

John 1:23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Luke 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

Luke 4:1 ... and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.

Mark 1:12 And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

WHERE DOES SATAN WHISPER?

Do we distinguish the whispers in the middle of the storms? Who is it, for Christ in the wilderness it was Satan whispering scriptures. For me, it is scriptures whispered, only defense is scriptures which spirit leads us.

Tuesday morning, 28th. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Do we hear the "so loved the world."

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

One of the scariest verses in the bible, ....Satan entered Luke 22:3, Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. John 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. We are to be bold in our belief, reading these verses, one of the apostles, one of the twelve, Satan entered into him. Some will say he was never a Christian. He walked with Christ, he saw the miracles Christ did. He saw the prophecies fulfilled, yet he still betrayed Christ. Meditate on this.

...loved darkness. We loved our sins of the flesh. We don't want to hear our sins.

What a year lost my physical heart and then lost half of who I am, but I praise God, will not change who I am. Job went thru much more. Focus on how Jesus kissed Judas knowing he would betray him soon. Went and loved him, but in the end, let him follow darkness.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Are we following Christ as if it is a checklist to do to get to heaven? We need to be following Christ as if it is a part of us, we do it out of love, out of a passion for our belief. When we treat it like a checklist or find ourselves checking off a box we often go through trials to correct that mindset.

CAST THYSELF DOWN?

Satan will try to destroy our lives and those around us. Makes you feel God should protect you, even if you do something stupid. Reference picture, if I jumped off this mountain top (temple pinnacle), or at a peak in our life financially, etc. Do we demand God save us when we jump? If someone is whispering to you we need to distinguish who it is. I felt as if God was asking me to leave everyone. They will be safer without you, destroy yourself God will save you.

Focus on how Jesus kissed Judas knowing he betrayed him soon. Went and loved him, but in end let him follow darkness.

Marriage is who we become, we can not separate, wonder how Jesus and church relationship is spiritually.

Judas study

Jesus confronted Judas when Judas came to kiss him and identify him

Betrayest thou....with a kiss

No angry words, but confronted sin

Thoughts. Satan entered into Judas' heart

Christ didn't blame satan he blamed Judas

... it's not what goes in but what comes out of the heart is sin

Judas repented but hung himself. Why mention this...saved or not?

Reads like Judas didn't realize Jesus would be condemned, but when he realized it, immediately repented,but then hung himself.

How does Satan enter our hearts....our weakness?

Judas need money or succumb to pressure and just took it.

When a man fails .... how does he go on?

Why didn't Jesus try to stop Judas before he was betrayed...knew the result was fulfilling prophecy

Jesus' reaction to types of sin...

Overthrew tables, Questioned Judas stopped the kiss

He knew before satan entered him yet he let satan enter him

Free will...we still have to follow after Christ can't just believe.

Heart song ... All I want to Do....show sin entering in the heart...how did she respond, she did it still wasn't sorry, but went with the man she married to..but still loved sin.

Is this right...Similar to Judas throwing 30 pieces of silver but still condemned.

Thinking.....Satan whispered in my ear. You didn't teach her the bible. You didn't protect her.

You failed as a man, it's your fault. It's ok for her, don't you want her to be happy, if you love

her let her, you can have your family(kingdom) just let her, then whisper like to Job, you are righteous you haven't done anything, but I have personal sins I am not righteous by my works, but by my belief in Christ's.

How to answer these whispers...

Morning Meditation driving to work 08/22/2022. Throughout my life, I have always wondered if I am doing God's will. Then you hear God's voice correcting you, guiding you, bringing you back. But you never hear Satan's voice. Maybe you do, need to meditate on that thought some more. Then I started thinking when I was walking in God's will, praising God, how I didn't hear God's voice, I heard Satan's whispers.

Prayed for spiritual protection of my family, wept, on my knees, and couldn't figure out why nothing in return from God. I kept hearing the song "Praise You in The Storm", lyrics ... still say Amen. The storm is raging God, help me. Nothing. I didn't hear these things can only be cast out by fasting and prayer. My prayers were answered, going through difficulties. It wasn't until out of the wilderness, that I started to think is everything going to be ok now? Meditations led me to hear this scripture about fasting. I had been fasting, I had been praying in the wilderness. I remembered questioning, How can I ever trust this? After reading Peter deny Christ three times, I heard the words I never expected to hear. I was stunned at first and said what did you say. Then repeated the 2nd time, and I still couldn't hear the words. Only on the third time did I hear the words I had been desperate to hear. The words I had prayed to hear. Just moments after reading about Peter.

When Satan whispers we can choose to follow the easy path, the promises you can have this, it will all be great. This is your kingdom I will give you,, what you desire most can be yours, just choose. What if Job heard take his life... like his wife told him. What if Job just cursed God, what would have been his outcome? Satan whispers part of scripture too us. We can hear the easy way, you can do this. We can hear ...for God so loved the world...but do we hear the world first hated him... the world will hate us for our belief. Do we hear there will be trials for Gods path? Or do we hear the prosperity doctrine? We have to be led by the spirit when we discern scripture, we have to hear the whole word of God. The whole word of God is not just the ink on the paper, not just the scriptures. It is far more than we will ever know, it is the Spirit speaking to us along with the scriptures.

When we choose Christ, when we follow after Christ we choose to win spiritually, our reward is not in this world. We are not promised to have all our heart's desires on this earth. We are promised to be hated, we will suffer. Think of quote from? about Satan leaving us alone when we are not following after Christ. Need to look it up again. Anyway, this is a direct followup of God saying "I win ... I win". Not in the way the world sees it, but spiritually. I said the words but had to go through them to fully see what God meant when he says I win. I can hear those words, I can say those words, I can write about those words, but those words have to be felt in a believer's heart.

DID YOU WAR A GOOD WARFARE?

Satan was winning the war with me. I was depressed with my heart condition, all I kept hearing was this is it, this is your end. You failed your family. When we are depressed we are not praising God, we are not focused on the blessings. We can listen to songs that are supposed to be Christian music, yet they steer our hearts to depression. When songs focus on the wrongs we had, they steer us to keep reliving the pain. When I tried to focus on the blessings, and praise God I was feeling uplifted, I was praising God. As I started this, I came under a tremendous trial. I kept hearing the whispers, I didn't know how to war a good warfare. Until "...the spirit led him(me) immediately into the wilderness." I couldn't understand why my prayers were unanswered. I didn't understand. The spirit led my anyway to fasting and praying. I had recognized in earlier meditations, and sermons, that this could be legion but I never connected the fasting. We read about it but is it ever part of our lives? Mine wasn't intentional, but it was brought upon me. Scriptures tell us to war a good warfare, not just a battle. Strategic heavenly reward. Were going to lose battles, some very painful losses. We still need to shout the good news of a saviour. When Satan whispers, we shout. When he whispers our failings, we need to shout God's victory in us. When he tries to separate us from other Christians, we need to seek out fellow believers.

ARE YOU CASTING STONES?

What do you do when a brother in Christ falls? Do you cast stones at them? Did Christ cast stones at Judas. Christ marked Judas when he betrayed him, and scriptures show other brothers call him betrayer. Need study more on restoring those that fall. Is it fall, or stumble? How do we help them? I didn't want to mark them. Felt as though God said, wait even though world says mark them. I was moved to not mark just yet. Not sure of the just yet message. But I struggled with this mark them. It is scriptural, and was feeling the "whispers" and not discerning if Satan or spirit guiding me. Kept hearing give up everything and follow me...

ARE THE SCARS TOO DEEP?

Saturday (9/10/2022) night after mowing, I realize that I began this journey in December last year during Revelation bible study. I had realized then that I needed to praise and worship God, and committed to doing it publicly. Psalm 100:4 was predominant in my thoughts. Looking back I see when I committed to thanking God for blessings in my life, and praising God, that was the week Satan entered into my house. I had started writing about "Setting Thine House in Order" and the blessings I had received from it. I part of you expects subconsciously, worshipping God, praising God, that your life will improve, your circumstance will get better. That wasn't my purpose in doing it, but you never expect that Satan hears you praising God. On January 23, 2022, Satan had destroyed "Thine House". The whispers had into the heart, had come out. As the bible says its not what goes into the heart that is sin, it is what comes out. The actions we do. Judas sinned when he betrayed Christ, and Christ marked him that day not before.

Phrase "Come at me Sideways" urban meaning is that someone comes at you (betrays) disguised as a friend. Satan came at Jesus sideways, as an Apostle, as someone close to Jesus, through Judas. Think of the song, What a Friend We Have in Jesus". Will Satan come at us sideways, as a friend quoting scripture, whispering like Christ? Absolutely, scriptures show us that in Revelations, end times.

What happens when the scars are too deep. What does scripture tell us, victory is in the next world. How do we deal with the now? When we take the lashes but now we are too numb, feeling is gone, joy is gone? How does a christian recover, or do they? The song "Praise You in The Storm", what do we do when the storm is gone, fight is over, adrenaline is down. Do we put our armour down. Stuck in a daze, waiting for the next blow. Satan comes after our weak spots. Imagine Job's weak spots were his family. He lost his world. Satan was there with me ... your heart is too weak now, you can't do this, why did you live thru it, your going to lose everything, what was your life for, nothing. Where did your beliefs get you, for this pain. For this hurt. Just end your life, its over, be better for everyone.

God was there to say I Am With You. When you lose, I will win. When I didn't hear God's voice he was directing my paths, moving me to where I needed to be to pray.
