Praise You In The Storm

Updated: Feb 22, 2023

Driving just thinking about throughout my life, I would hear God's voice when I would be wondering if I was walking in God's will. I would hear correction, God bringing me back to his path for me, telling me what to do. But then I thought I would never hear Satan's voice at that time (or maybe I just didn't identify him). Then I was thinking, when I would be walking in God's will, praising God then I didn't hear God's voice, I heard Satan's whispers. Just something to meditate on.

Do we distinguish the whispers in the middle of the storms? Who is it? For Christ, in the wilderness, it was Satan whispering scriptures.

For me it is scriptures whispered, the only defense is spirit-inspired scripture that leads us.

Tuesday morning 28th

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Do we hear the ...so loved the world

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

....loved darkness. We loved our sins of the flesh. We don't want to hear their sins.

...earlier msg ....our conscious condemns us

Wed June 29th, 10 am listening to "Praise You In The Storm" song, by Natalie Grant ... where she sings "...you are who you are ... no matter where I am."

What a year this had been for me. Lost my physical heart, and half of who I am. I still give God praise through it all. I will not change who I am with my circumstances. I may fail at moments, but overall I still am thankful to God for all the blessings I have had and will keep having in my life.

Focus on how Jesus kissed Judas knowing he would be betrayed by him soon. Went and loved him, but in end let him follow darkness.

Marriage is who we become, we can not separate, wonder how Jesus felt spiritually when the church, his bride fails him.

Judas study. Jesus confronted Judas when Judas came to identify him "...betrayest thou the Son of man...?" Luke 22:48 No angry words, but confronted sin in a believer. Just the thought of Satan entering Judas' heart, should scare every believer. It is also interesting and should study further that Christ didn't blame Satan he blamed Judas when he sinned. Need to reflect on "...it is not what goes in...but what comes out verse.

Judas repented but hung himself. Why mention this...was he saved or not? Reads like Judas didn't realize Jesus would be condemned, but then realized and immediately repented, but then hung himself

How does Satan enter our hearts? ....our weakness.

Judas needs money or succumb to pressure and just took ut.

When a man fails .... how does he go on

Why didn't Jesus try to stop Judas before he was betrayed...knew the result was fulfilling the prophecy

Jesus' reaction to types of sin. In one type, he overthrew tables. In betray sin he confronted Judas

He knew before Satan entered him yet he let Satan enter him.

Free will...we still have to follow after Christ can't just believe.

Heart song ... All I want to Do....show sin entering in the heart...how did she respond, she did it still wasn't sorry, but went with the man she married to..but still loved sin.

Is this right? It is similar to Judas throwing 30 pieces of silver but still condemned.

July 4 note

Job family restored....my family increased in the Philippines...more blessing.

Did Job complain while being restored?

Raining, eating pizza. Started thinking.....Satan whispered in my ear. You didn't teach her the bible. You didn't spiritually protect her. You failed as a man, it's your fault. It's ok for her, don't you want her to be happy, if you love her let her, you can have your family(kingdom) just let her. Then whisper like to Job; you are righteous you haven't done anything, but I have personal sins I am not.

How to answer these whispers...

Bible shows us Christ's example with Judas. He knew he would sin. He didn't stop Judas

Except for when he had already done it and went to kiss Christ.

He didn't act in anger like Peter and attack, he went in peace but he marked Judas when he went to kiss ...fake love.

Korean Air Flight Manila to Korea to New York

I finished 2nd part of the trip movie American underdog...Kurt warner story

God has a plan for us. Made for this moment. Show the world what I have known all along

You were born for this. This is my time I know who I am. I know who I am and why I am here

All of these years God gave you something others didn't have... you're made for this moment.

Gave God the glory in Superbowl victory. A lot of lessons in this movie..struggles

Our walk is like a game of football at times. When we get hit do we lay down and complain, or get back up and keep trying
