ROUGH DRAFT
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23).
Fruit Of The Spirit
Getting ready to start a new church bible study. My wife and I started to read Revelations the night before and decided as a family we should just read together more. I need to not work as much, and spend more time at home.
Then the next day happens. Had to stay over for a 12-hour day, with breakdowns everywhere. Feeling exhausted when done, I went to my car and found a bad tire. Went to the gas station hoping to put some air in my tire to get me home (35 min drive). Tire pressure was down to 18 psi from 32. I was fortunate enough that the air pressure held, and I made it home. Looking at the tire closer, I found a huge nail in it.
Since I had to wake up at 430 am for work, figured better change the tire. Play with Abigail some, then eat, hardly any time to read the bible.
Seems like a repeating pattern in my life. Later I figure I will read Rev 2. The first verse where left off from earlier reading was Revelation 2:6.
But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
I don't know the deeds of the Nicolaitanes off hand., but the words "... this thou hast, ..." made me reflect on the upcoming bible study on Fruit of the Spirit.
This Thou Hast?
What Are They?
According to scripture, they are love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Do We Have Them?
Who Were The Nicolaitanes?
Thank you, God, for all the blessings in my life.
